Minutes of the August 25, 2009 Special Town Board Meeting
Chairman Sturgeon called the meeting to order at 10:07 AM. Those attending were Chairman Sturgeon, Supervisor Osfar, Supervisor Misiak, Clerk Allis and Rob Schmidt, Jr.Supervisor Osfar made a motion to approve the agenda at the discretion of the Chairman. Supervisor Misiak seconded and the motion carried.The Town Board worked on the 2010 budget with the help of Rob Schmidt, Jr. They worked on the purposed expenditures for 2010. Supervisor Misiak will contact the Fire Department and Ambulance Department to get their budgets for 2010. He will also look over the Recycling Center to see what needs to be in that area of the budget. Supervisor Osfar will report back to the Board on the 2010 Budget for the park. Chairman Sturgeon will contact the Library Board to get their 2010 Budget requests. The Town Board received the Highway Order from the towns attornery, Keith Kost. This Highway Order is for the discontinued and vacated portion of platted roadway known as Yolanda Drive and to lay out a roadway over a portion of the platted but unopened roadway known as Yolanda Drive. The property owners who made this application are Forrest and Donna Jukich and they shall be responsible for having the roadway be brought up to Town specifications by November 15, 2009. They shall also be responsible for the construction cost of this roadway area the roadway to be laid out is a triangular parcel of property 50 x 32 x 59.4. The Town Board members signed the Highway Order. Discussion was held regarding the request from Jim White for town maintenance for .4 mile of Harris Creek Lane turning onto Village Point Lane for .3 mile. Supervisor Misiak made a motion to write a letter to Camp Mishike Shores Property Owners Association that the Town Board will accept the subject roadway contingent upon improvements of the road made per Town Ordinance 2-91 Requirements for New Town Roads, and those improvements are approved by the Town Board. The Camp Mishike Shores Property Owners Association must provide the town clear title to the subject roadbed. Supervisor Osfar seconded and the motion carried.Supervisor Misiak made a motion to adjourn. Supervisor Osfar seconded and the motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 12:23 PM.
