Minutes of the January 14, 2009 Public HearingChairman Schmidt called the Public Hearing to order at 9:00 AM. Those attending were Chairman Schmidt, Supervisor Williams, Supervisor Osfar, Cheryl Bowen and Cela McGinnis.The Public Hearing was called to get input on the slow-no-wake buoy placement on Papoose Lake. There will be one slow-no-wake buoy between the boat landing and Strawberry Island. Cheryl Bowen stated there is a need for the buoy. Chairman Schmidt adjourned the Public Hearing at 9:02 AM.Minutes of the January 14, 2009 Special Town Board MeetingChairman Schmidt called the meeting to order at 9:03 AM. Those attending were Chairman Schmidt, Supervisor Williams, Supervisor Osfar and Cela McGinnis. Supervisor Williams made a motion to approve the agenda at the discretion of the Chairman. Supervisor Osfar seconded and the motion carried.Discussion held regarding the slow-no-wake buoy placement on Papoose Lake. There was one public comment favorable for the buoy. Chairman Schmidt has a letter from the DNR stating they are in agreement that it is a logical place to put the buoy. Supervisor Osfar made a motion to approve the placement of the slow-no-wake buoy in Papoose Lake. Supervisor Williams seconded and the motion carried. Discussion held regarding the new library. The new plans have been received and reviewed. Chairman Schmidt stated that once the changes are made we put the plan out on bids. Bids will be due at 7:00 PM March 2, 2009. We will attempt to have a pre-bid meeting February 16, 2009 and any further discussions will take place between Chairman Schmidt and the architect. Supervisor Williams made a motion to put this out on bids with bids due March 2, 2009. Supervisor Osfar seconded and the motion carried.Chairman Schmidt made a motion to adjourn.
