Minutes of the June 14, 2010 Special Town Board Meeting
Chairman Sturgeon called the meeting to order at 8:00 AM. Those attending were Chairman Sturgeon, Supervisor Osfar, Supervisor Misiak and Clerk Allis. In the audience were Mr. & Mrs. Mark Gerhardt.
Supervisor Osfar made a motion to approve the agenda at the discretion of the Chairman. Supervisor Misiak seconded and the motion carried.
The candidate for the town crew position withdrew his application. No interviews were held this day.
Discussion was held regarding the trailer application from Mark Gerhardt. Supervisor Osfar made a motion to approve Mark Gerhardt’s request to put his 26’ travel trailer on his property at 1034 Old County Highway “O”, for a period of one year. Supervisor Misiak seconded and the motion carried.
Supervisor Osfar made a motion to go into closed session under SS19.85© considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance valuation of any public employee. Supervisor Misiak seconded and the motion carried. Roll call vote: Chairman Sturgeon, aye; Supervisor Osfar, aye; Supervisor Misiak, aye. Going into closed session are Chairman Sturgeon, Supervisor Osfar, Supervisor Misiak and Clerk Allis.
Supervisor Misiak made a motion to reconvene into open session. Supervisor Osfar seconded and the motion carried.
During closed session the Board discussed the possibility of interviewing another candidate for the town crew position since today’s candidate withdrew his application.
Supervisor Misiak made a motion to adjourn. Supervisor Osfar seconded and the motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 8:15 AM.
