March 3, 2009 Special Board Meeting
Minutes of the March 3, 2009 Special Town Board MeetingChairman Schmidt called the meeting to order at 2:02 PM. Those attending were Chairman Schmidt, Supervisor Osfar, Supervisor Williams, Bob Bell, Steve Steiner, Louise Eifert and Roger Miller.Supervisor Osfar made a motion to approve the agenda at the discretion of the Chairman. Chairman Schmidt seconded and the motion carried.Chairman Schmidt stated the new library plans will discussed. The tape will be turned off until a decision is made.The tape was turned on at 3:00 PM. The Board went through the bids, reviewing sub-contractors, looking at different options, proposals and bonding requirements. Decker Lumber is the low bid; it appears that he has everything in his bid. Last night a motion was made and approved to have Bob Bell get state approved plans. Chairman Schmidt will contact Decker and let him know that he is the low bid and once we receive the state approved plans the Board will sit down with Decker and go through everything that he bid versus the state approved plans and make sure everything is correct. Chairman Schmidt made a motion that we table any further discussion until we receive the state approved plans. Supervisor Osfar seconded and the motion carried. Supervisor Williams made a motion to adjourn. Supervisor Osfar seconded and the motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 3:10 PM.Respectfully submitted,Ruth AllisTown Clerk
