1. Start the refrigeration unit one day before it is to be used. The switch is on the north wall of the walk-in cooler. Turn off the refrigeration unit when the event is over. It is not to be left running for more than three consecutive days maximum.
2. The connection for CO2 containers for tappers is in located in the storage room on the left side of the building.
3. If using the tappers, connect the hoses to barrels and turn the small handles by the wall to parallel with the hoses.
4. The light switch for the glass door unit is inside the cooler to the right of the door.
5. When the refreshment stand is in use, keep the entry door closed (the glass door pops open from air pressure when the cooler door is opened and closed, and the glass door will hit the entry door if it is standing open.
6. Minimize opening and closing the cooler door during operation, which may cause the unit to over work and freeze up. If the unit does freeze up, shut the switch off until it thaws completely.
7. Advertizing signs, such as beer or soda signs, may be hung during the event, but must be removed as soon as the event is concluded.
8. When the event is done, shut off and disconnect CO2 and tap hoses and closed small handles on the wall.
9. The tap hoses must be removed with a crescent wrench and rinsed through with hot water, then replaced.
10. There is a water hose, spray nozzle and broom in the storage room. Spray down the sink and floor in the serving area, and the floor and walls in the coolers, and sweep the water into the floor drains.
11. Everything, including garbage, re-cyclables, containers and equipment, must be removed or properly disposed of within twenty-four hours of the finish of the event.
12. Lock all doors and return the keys to the Town Hall or a Town Supervisor within twenty-four hours.
